Details: Barbara Cook's 1980 PBS broadcast "An Evening with Barbara Cook" with Wally Harper, musical director. Taped around the time of Cook's second appearance at Carnegie Hall and the release of her second Carnegie Hall album, "It's Better with a Band," the broadcast featured much the same program as the concert and album. It has long been regarded as an example of Cook in the absolute vocal prime of her comeback. The concert was never released on VHS, laser or DVD, and all that remains are recordings like these.
